Hypnosis: Soul Meets Body
Hypnosis is a state of heightened relaxation. Each day, we naturally go in and out of this state of consciousness many times. When we are driving, listening to music, folding laundry or even reading a good book, we might be in a state of hypnosis or trance.
When our mind is in this consciousness, we are switching from our ultra-alert brain waves of Beta, to a more focused brain pattern of Alpha Brain waves, and or even slower, deeper brain waves of Theta, like that of a day dream.
It is this safe and very deep level of awareness that allows the hypnotic trance to tap into the subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is always awake and always taking things in.
It is a place we store all of our beliefs both good and bad, conscious known beliefs and subconscious unknown beliefs.
It is a place of thought patterns and learning.
It is also the place where we are able to implement long lasting changes.
During a hypnotic session, the client is brought into a trance state and lead through a hypnosis which is focused on the changes they wish to bring about, whether they be goals around health and wellness, sleep, weight loss, smoke recession, or whatever else might be of importance. At this deeper level of awareness, changes can be made to subconscious patterning that interfere with our progress. It is a relaxing and calming experience but will leave the client feeling rejuvenated positive and capable.
What hypnosis is NOT:
It is NOT dangerous: Clients have complete control over their behavior during a hypnosis session and generally remain aware of the session and remember it. There are some contraindications, some people might not respond well, but that won’t endanger them. Examples of clients that wouldn’t respond well to hypnotherapy might be a person’s age (very young children for example) or a medical condition (seizures for example).
- A full and detailed intake is done prior to any hypnotic session to determine if hypnosis is right for YOU!
- It is NOT sleep: You may feel tired, or very relaxed but it is not a sleep state. Often clients report feeling energized and euphoric.
- It will NOT make it difficult for you to drive afterwards. Again, most clients find themselves more energetic and buoyant AFTER a hypnosis session.

Results-Centered Hypnotherapy: Working with a specific goal to be achieved: whether that be anxiety reduction, weight-loss, sleep enhancement, test improvement, sports performance
Soul Rejuvenating Hypnotherapy: Brings clients more peace and centering and connection to their inner spirit
Smoking Cessation: Effective method to stop smoking.
A 90-minute session, which includes intake and introduction (which is mandatory for all types of hypnotic treatments). Thereafter a program will be put together for you (typically 6 sessions for best results).
Two sessions per week is the most effective approach.
